What if we get an incorrect or incomplete address?
If a gift basket is shipped to an incorrect address, it will be returned to us. Unfortunately, USPS/UPS/FedEx charges a flat fee of $13.99 for this return, which we must pass on to you. Once a package with an incorrect or incomplete address has left our facility, our options are limited. Occasionally, we can reroute a package to the correct address for an additional fee of $13.99, but this is not always successful. Regardless, the package will be returned to us and will need to be resent for delivery. Please note that USPS/UPS/FedEx does not always notify us of delivery issues, and we often only discover problems once the package is returned. In these rare situations, we appreciate your patience and assure you that we will do everything possible to ensure your gift basket arrives in perfect condition and as soon as possible.
Are your delivery times guaranteed?
Yes!* Shipments are guaranteed for Ground, 5 Day, 3 Day, 2 Day deliveries. If our delivery partner fails to deliver on time, we will refund the shipping cost of your gift. However, please be aware that if the recipient is not home and the delivery service cannot complete the delivery, this does not qualify as a missed delivery. Additionally, circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather or natural disasters, void the delivery guarantee. We maintain an impressive over 99% on-time performance, making shipping issues a rare occurrence. Please note that during November and December, delivery times cannot be guaranteed due to increased carrier volume.
What if the gift is going to a hospital?
When a gift is shipped to a hospital for a patient, it is delivered to a receiving area. Hospital staff then transports the package to the patient's room. This process may delay delivery to the recipient by several hours, and depending on the time of day, the package might not reach the recipient until the next day. This protocol is in place to ensure the safety and privacy of patients. Please note that if you select weekend delivery for your gift, this process may further delay delivery.
What if the gift is going to a college?
When a gift is sent to a college, it is typically delivered to the Campus Mail Room, even if an exact address with a door number is provided. This is a security measure implemented by most colleges to ensure the safety of their students. Please note that selecting weekend delivery may also delay the package's arrival due to this process.
What if the gift is going to a business?
For gifts shipped to a business, USPS or UPS and FedEx will deliver the package to the designated area where all other packages are received. This could be a receiving area, welcome desk, or administrative desk. Many companies do not permit delivery drivers to enter offices in search of recipients, so once the package is signed for, it is the company's responsibility to ensure the gift reaches the intended person.
Can I send a package internationally?
No! Currently, we don't have package options available for shipping outside the United States.
Do recipients have to be present to receive their packages?
Delivery requirements depend on the package type: all gifts, the decision lies with the USPS or UPS or FedEx delivery driver. If the driver determines that the package can be safely left, they will do so. However, if they assess that a secure location is not available, they will need to return later, often resulting in next-day delivery.
How do you pack your gift baskets?
We utilize state-of-the-art instant foam packaging. Your gift will NEVER arrive with irritating popcorn and will be ready to unpack in seconds. The foam is perfectly molded to the contents of your gift and requires no cleanup or hassle. In contrast, our competitors often use popcorn, paper, bubble wrap, and other subpar materials that, while protective during transit, compromise the presentation and diminish the joy of receiving the gift.
Summer Shipping
During the summer months, gift baskets containing chocolate must be shipped with ice packs to maintain their pristine condition. An additional fee applies for these ice packs. Furthermore, all shipments will use USPS or UPS or FedEx services to minimize transit time, ensuring that every gift arrives in perfect condition.
Substitution Policy
Occasionally, we may run out of a specific item for various reasons. While this is not common, we reserve the right to substitute the unavailable item with another of equal or greater value. Thank you for your understanding!
